This dual resort is connected and flows together well. The 4 beaches with different vibes fit with the largest pool in Jamaica which compliments the adult only pool and water park for the family’s makes it a well thought out resort for everyone that wants to enjoy Jamaica. They offer a baby club along with the kids club and in the Lady Hamilton side you can have romance villa’s with no kids in that section to enjoy your kid free vacation! Situated in between Montego Bay and Negril you have access to explore some great areas of Jamaica without spending the whole day traveling. The on-site dive team can do shore dives or take the short boat ride to the reef! All in all a great consideration for all to choose this property to spend your hard earned vacation!

The best of both trips can be had at the Secrets St. James in Montego Bay.

Jewel Runaway Bay Beach and Water Park

The Jewel Runaway bay and Water Park… We will call a spade a spade and we know this place is due for some refreshing, but the destination and limited flights bring up the $$$. The waterpark at this particular resort makes it near the top of our picks for families, with a kids club 3-12 helping out if your kids are into the kids clubs! We would recommend this spot if we can get it at a deal, especially with the kids’ stay free promos making it more affordable!

Riu Ocho Rios

Location- 90 minutes from Montego Bay airport

This newly renovated Riu property has some great things going for it, the newly added water park, with the refresh on the rooms makes it much more comfortable. Able to get your family of 5 as well as the unlimited no reservations for dinner, might be a great spot. We haven’t been to the area but Dunn’s river is close but from the airport the 90 minute commute might be on the extremes to get to a vacation!

Hilton RoseHall

The Hilton RoseHall is a short trip from the airport getting you to your vacation faster! With service from the heart this property surprises many, with a lazy river and some water slides to entertain the family and a golf course at your doorstep you are set for your vacation!

The Wild Orchid is right next to St. James but offers a much more lively experience for you and your partner. The extra activities throughout the day and night will be something for you to decide depending on your type of vacation. The Riu Reggae was a new build for Riu beside the Riu Montego Bay property which gives you exchange privileges to us the family friendly services next door most notably the night club!! The resort is nice and close to the airport which has its perks but we have also heard there is some airline noise but bearable. The swim up bar is a gathering spot or enjoy unlimited reservation free dining and in room liquor dispensers to boot!!

This property is much more of a quiet romantic hotel. There is not much for evening entertainment or nightlife and the resort pools are not bustling like many properties these days. You will find relaxation on 7 Mile beach in Negril and couples tennis lessons or spa sessions!
