Location- Cancun Hotel zone approx. 30 minutes from the airport

This smaller family fun resort includes water park, wall climbing, and beach front to the white sands of Cancun hotel zone. They do offer some adult-only sections in the resort but for me I would pick a different spot to enjoy the Caribbean sea for an adult or couple experience! This resort is often priced well for families especially for the amenities that are included which brings a great value when looking here!

Hyatt Ziva Cancun

Location- Heart of the Hotel zone Cancun, 30 minutes from Cancun airport

This Hyatt resort is a gem. Right on the point of the “7” in Cancun, this resort is definitely in the Luxury category. The onsite microbrewery, with a sports bar that is one of my favorite spots in Mexico with a fresh batch 3 times a year and fresh pub food with the game on. The Turquoise tower offers an adult-only experience with an amazing 2nd-floor infinity pool overlooking the Punta Cancun which that view will never get old. A swim-up bar, water sports, calm seas, and a private beach area (with overwater hammocks) will take up your time! Don’t forget the onsite dive center which will help pass away your vacation your way!

Hyatt Zilara Cancun

Location- Cancun hotel Zone approximately 25 minutes from the Cancun airport

The Hyatt Ziliara adult only resort sits on the amazing stretch of beach in the Cancun hotel zone, with some stunning views from the hotel pools and swim out suites as well each of the other rooms in the property face the stunning blues of the sea! The spa is quite the spot, not a spa guy but I would spend some time in the hydro-circurt in this property. This hotel has a well-appointed gym with a lap pool as well, to spend some time prior to spending your days in the sun! Perfect spot for couples looking to reconnect in a quietier hotel in a popular spot in Cancun hotel Zone!

Riu Palace las Americas

Location- 30 minutes from Cancun Airport

The adult only Riu Palace las Americas is right in the heart of the hotel zone close to Punta Cancun. The resort itself is a little more on the quiet side for the romantic or laid-back vacation but with the location and the ability to head next door to the Riu Cancun for a little nightlife it might be a great spot for you!! Looking for a little more of a party, head down to Riu Tequila for the afternoon pool party for a little change of scenery in Playa Car.

Wyndham Alltra Cancun

Location- Hotel zone Cancun approx 25 minutes to the airport

The Wyndham Alltra Cancun brand was the first of a new trend of quality with a laid back attitude. This resort is on an amazing stretch of Cancun beach, water slides, kids pool, kids club, playground, mini-golf, and a really cool teens club with VR! The adults can enjoy the massive sports bar with a massive TV and the super tasty coffee bar with self serve drip coffee so you don’t have to wait!

Secrets The Vine

Location- 20 minutes from Cancun Airport

The adults only chic hotel in the heart of the hotel zone is upscale and trendy, not up my alley but it definitely is for many as it is a very popular spot! The great spa has 14 treatment rooms which puts many days wide open for the spa. The rooms have some great views in the 28-story building which are also well designed and fresh. The resort doesn’t have a great nightlife but the area does so you can get the best of both worlds! Stay in or head out but either way Secrets The Vine could be a great pick for an adults only getaway.

Iberostar Cancun

Location- 20 minutes, 17 km from airport

The Iberostar Cancun is a part of their “Select” resorts, giving an added luxury to the already good name for Iberostar. The resort is well placed in the hotel zone close to shopping a little further down the “7”. The resort offers a great family section and activities with the ability to upgrade to the Coral section which is the adult only portion of the hotel. You have 24 hour food and room service included with your package and the ability to visit some other resorts down in the Mayan, you can see some other parts of the area while etting some benefits of another resort!

Paradisus Cancun

The Paradisus has a great name in All-inclusive. The quality of service and food always keep up with the name! Halfway down the “7” of Cancun keeps you away from the party zone but close enough if you want to get some shopping in. Enjoy the sand and surf, head to the gym, or check out the spa, all will be enjoyed with the unique interior of this higher-end resort. They do have a kids club included but room service will be at an additional charge but with unlimited a la carte reservations for your stay room service may not be needed.

Omni Cancun Hotel and Villas

Family, Couples

Location- 20 minutes, 17 km from airport

The Omni is not a super well-known brand or large for that matter, but the family amenities, with a kid’s club, kids pool and up to 2 kids stay free. The great beach front location, large sprawling pools with swim up bar and pool side BBQ might be an option for some value at times in the year. Wifi included with your package with access to room service at a fee are some added value and amenities for yourself at this resort!
