I know that it looks like resort does not have a ton to offer but it really does with its luxury simplicity. Only 35 rooms, this boutique resort lets everyone reconnect back to nature while enjoying the finer things. Although this is a family resort I would say it is almost exclusive couples but I am sure the odd family may enjoy this experience but I personally would leave mine at home!! The resort is on Isla Mujers which allows you to get away from the Hussle and bustle of Cancun and enjoy a whole different vacation experience, starting with a private yacht ride from the ferry terminal!

Palmaia House of Aia

A brand new concept of ultra-high end amenities integrated into nature. The House of Aia is intended to bring guest back to their true selves and reset with nature. The laid back eco-friendly property is built within the natural landscape and beach with natural cenote’s on site to explore. Now this resort is not for everyone but if it’s up your alley and in your price range it might be a great consideration!

Hotel Xcaret

Location- Approx 45 minutes from the airport

On the larger side of a hotel but very spread out, this stunning property is what a luxury hotel demands in the Mayan. Lacking an “onsite” water park ( although has amazing pools and ocean access) Hotel Xcaret offers free access to 9 of site parks in the area you can keep yourself super busy! The luxury comes at a cost and this property is often one of the most expensive in the area… Is it worth it? Maybe not for us at this point with young kids but older kids may enjoy the connecting pools and access to all the parks! Also probably a good pick for couples that want the luxury and freedom!

Sanctuary Cap Cana

Location- Punta Cana area, approx 15 minutes from the airport

Cap Cana has some amazing resorts and this adults only resort won’t disappoint. A full renovation at the end of 2018 made this property much more appealing to its guest. With under 200 rooms the romantic feel keeps couples engaged in each other. Often reaching the top resorts in the Caribbean, feel free to pick this resort for an adults only getaway for a truly luxurious vacation.

Palafitos Over Water Bungalows El Dorado Maroma

Location- 42 km from Cancun airport

Okay, I don’t know if this is everyone’s dream room but it sure is ours! Not only do you get all the resort amenities from the El Dorado Maroma adult-only Gourmet inclusive resort, but you also get to stay on one of the world’s top 10 beaches, and literally I mean on!! You have direct access with a ladder into the water, private pool, glass floors, full butler service, and dressing service (whatever that is!!). It’s not cheap but if you need that once in a lifetime experience this might be it!!

Hyatt Los Cabo

A great name is all inclusive at the higher end of what is offered in the all inclusive scene. They offer some great higher end services for families of 5 with the small kids water park and pool to get away from the main pool for everyone else who’s enjoying the Cabo sun! Hyatt resorts motto is service from the heart, which you can expect from this wonderful resort!

Secrets Cap Cana

The cream of the crop… This gem by Secrets is rated one of the best resorts in the Caribbean. Located in the upscale gated community of Cap Cana you have easy access to golf, tours, fishing and an easy drive to the lively Bavaro area if you are looking for more of a party. Expect nothing but the best from this property which would be a sure bet for any couple, honeymoon, anniversary or engagement (Ps, we can help plan a surprise)!

Le Blanc Cancun

The very high end Le Blanc Cancun will push your thoughts of what luxury is. It is a smaller hotel in the heart of the hotel zone which is close to the hip bars and places people want to head out and see. If you are looking at this property you probably already know what you are getting!!

Fairmont Mayakoba

Location- 48km to Cancun airport

This resort is amazingly cool! The rooms set on the lagoon or oceanfront definitely catch my eye! The upgraded amenities at the resort will be sure to please all! It is a family resort but does have limited hours in the kids club but does have 2 shallow pools and 1 with a slide for the kids. Boat rides and bikes are included to get around the resort which is a cool touch to be able to see some of the nature that was maintained when this resort was built! Again with most luxury resorts, it may not be your jam but I could probably get used to it!!

Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita

The Zoetry concept of wellness combined with the boutique hotel with only 100 rooms makes it a perfect fit for those looking to get back to nature and themselves. The resort itself is family friendly but I don’t see the allure to bring kids to a resort of this capacity. Enjoy the back to earth type concept with your partner and take in all the amenities the hotel has to offer as well as the amazing beach area that you will be in!!

Le Blanc Cabo

One of the top resorts in the Cabo area, the upscale luxury resort provides pampering beyond what you ever want! The price tag on the resort stems from the degree of service and what you can expect… If you need the best, it maybe for you!

Ok, this is what luxury means to those that need this level of pampering. Your every care is taken care of at the Grand Velas with this beautiful property. I wouldn’t know how to handle myself with this end of luxury, to be honest… It might be one of those honeymoon once trips but at the price tag this resort is often out of the reach of many that are looking for a great family vacation, and I don’t blame anyone for not going to this level of comfort but would be jealous of those that do opt in this level of luxury for an all-inclusive vacation!
